ZIRO

     It is such a wonderful gift of nature to this earth, a piece of land which gives peace of mind when sojourn with nature amidst wilderness. Ziro is one of its kind, located on a hillock of lower Subansiridistrict, and it is the district headquarters for the inhabitants of Apatani tribals, wherein, Apatani valleys and encamped hills explains nature and its beauty becomes real when felt and not with words. So, lovely and charming location of Apatani tribe they are famous of hunting and zooms cultivation. They add a sense of colour to their living by multicolour dressing, tattoo on forehead, nose pins made of cane and toxic local wine which makes them feel that Man of nature be real. Their serenity of worship is the sun and the moon as external gods and they celebrate a 10 days-Gala festival during the months of March and April.

Tale Sanctuary

     This spot is renowned for botanical and zoological values located amid the valley, through a space of 335sq.km. Nature lover, Geographical students and Enthusiastics can drive deep into the woods of about 30km and then to trek about 8km to reach this awesome location. Caution of bears and leopards should be a real risk, perhaps! that’s life in nature. Moreover, a variety of orchids will add grandure to the visit. The state Government have provided accommodation amid the forest but with prior reservation check, the visitors are allowed to occupy the bungalow. The permission points are in Hapoli Forest range officer or the Deputy Commissioner Forest department in Ziro.

Daparizo

     This is another exciting location to live in nature and its bliss, located from 190km from Hapoli, Daparizo is populated by Tajin and Hilmin Tribals. There people are fond of good clothes and fair presentation. They behave much civilized, yet tribals. Their craft centre is famous for different varieties of hats made by bamboo and cane.
     To reach by air, the nearest airport is Tezpur, by rail one can reach upto north Lakhimpur and by road bus facilities are available from Itanagar, North Lakhimpur and Naharlagun.
