ALONG

     This town is again situated on the hill at about 650ft height near the banks of the river Siyom. This is another adventurous tourist spot for trekking, angling and walking up the hills. Important places of visit could be, Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Dayani Polo’s temple-[known to be the sun and moon temple] and a craft centre. Nearby, at a distance of 25km from here you have Mithun and Jerseg farm famous for cow and diary.
     Reaching this location by bus from Silapathar or Likabali or Pasighat by rail you can reach up to Bongaigaon to Silapathar and then by road. Airport is only at Tezpur.
